How it works for

venues

A me&u x Velocity promotional banner will appear at the bottom of your venue’s me&u menu when a guest scans your QR code. The banner will remain visible for up to 9 scans after which it will automatically be removed. There will be no change to your existing me&u menu or checkout flow.

Your venue will be featured under the ‘Earn & Pay with Points’ section on the Velocity website’s interactive map, helping guests discover participating locations.

Once a guest links their Velocity account, they’ll automatically earn Points on eligible transactions - meaning nothing changes in their ordering or payment process.

When guests choose to Pay with Velocity Points#, they’ll still order and pay through me&u as usual. The option to Pay with Points is prompted separately in the Velocity app post transaction. This happens entirely outside of me&u and does not affect your payouts or reconciliation, which will continue as normal.

Is anything excluded from earning Velocity Points in my eligible order?

Yes, if a Gift Card is used as a payment method. Velocity Points will not be earned on the portion of the transaction paid for using the Gift Card.   Also, if any discounts or promotions have been applied, these will not be included in the eligible order and will not earn Velocity Points.

I’m having trouble linking my Velocity account

Please ensure the details you have entered in your me&u account settings section match your Velocity Frequent Flyer account, including your first and last name and Velocity Frequent Flyer number. If you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to me&u for support by emailing support@meandu.com with the mobile number linked to your me&u account.

How does me&u Pay work with my POS?

Can Velocity Points be earned at all me&u venues?

No, Velocity Points can only be earned at Participating Venues where you must order through the me&u QR code itself, not with waitstaff, to earn Velocity Points.

How do I unlink my Velocity Frequent Flyer account from my me&u account?

Once you have unlinked your Velocity Frequent Flyer account, you will no longer earn Velocity Points on orders placed through me&u.

To unlink your accounts: Email support@meandu.com with the mobile number linked to your me&u account and request that the Velocity Membership be unlinked.

Once completed a confirmation email will be sent confirming that the account has been de-linked.

Is there a limit to how many Velocity Points I can earn with me&u?

Yes, once linked with me&u, the maximum amount of Velocity Points you can earn for a single eligible order at a Participating Venue is 1000 Velocity Points.

How many Velocity Points can I earn on my me&u Orders?

Once your Velocity Frequent Flyer account is linked to your me&u account, you’ll earn 1 Velocity Point for every $5 spent on completed eligible orders through me&u at Participating Venues. The minimum eligible order amount is $5, and the maximum is $5,000.

Velocity Points are earned on eligible orders made by a Velocity Member using me&u at Participating Venues in Australia, this includes any tips or surcharges. Velocity Points are calculated on the purchase total (including applicable taxes) after any discounts or promotions have been applied. For full Terms and Conditions, see below.

How can I earn the 100 bonus Velocity Points with me&u?

Customers will earn 100 bonus Velocity Points when they link their Velocity Frequent Flyer account to their me&u account. This bonus Points offer is a one-time only linking bonus.

You can earn 100 bonus Velocity Points by following the steps below:

Link your Velocity Membership and your me&u accounts by entering your first name, last name and your valid Velocity Frequent Flyer number into your me&u account via the homepage of the me&u digital menu or in the settings section of your me&u account.

You can link your account either in a Participating Venue when scanning a QR code in-venue or out of a Participating Venue via the linking form.

How can I become a Velocity Frequent Flyer member?

Becoming a Velocity Frequent Flyer membership is free! To sign up to the Velocity Frequent Flyer Program click here.

You will be redirected to the Velocity Frequent Flyer join form where you will be asked for personal information such as name, date of birth, address, contact number and email address. Complete the join form, read and accept the Velocity Frequent Flyer privacy policy and terms and conditions.

When you have completed the Velocity Frequent Flyer join form you will receive your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number on screen and via email immediately.

Can I link my Velocity Frequent Flyer account to multiple me&u accounts?

No. You can only link one Velocity account to one me&u account.

I completed an order with me&u before linking my Velocity Frequent Flyer account. Can I make a claim for this earn?

Unfortunately, only orders completed after you have linked your Velocity Frequent Flyer account to your me&u account will earn you Velocity Points. A retrospective claim for Velocity Points will not be accepted, except in instances where the claim arises out of technology malfunctions.
